Single sided PTFE cloth is often used to make insulation sleeves/jackets. It is a very suitable material for this application because it combines the advantages of glass fiber and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, commonly known as Teflon/PTFE)
Common Application

Pipe Insulation: Used for the insulation of various pipes to prevent heat loss or media freezing. Valve Insulation: Used for the insulation of various valves, such as gate valves and ball valves, to prevent valve freezing or overheating. Equipment Insulation: Used for the insulation of various equipment, such as pumps, reactors, heat exchangers, etc., to improve equipment thermal efficiency and safety. Special Environments: Such as high-temperature, corrosive environments or applications requiring frequent disassembly and maintenance.
