1. Product Overview The 0.4mm Grey PTFE Coated Fiberglass Fabric is an outer protective material developed for industrial removable and flexible insulation systems. Compounded with PTFE resin on a single side, it exhibits physical and chemical stability in environments involving temperature fluctuations, chemical corrosion, and oil contamination.

2. Core Material Advantages As the outer protective wall of an insulation jacket, its core advantages over conventional fabrics include:

  • Comprehensive Protection: Features chemical corrosion resistance combined with hydrophobic (water-repellent) and oleophobic (oil-repellent) properties. It prevents external media from penetrating the inner insulation core.

  • Mechanical Strength & Weather Resistance: The fiberglass substrate, combined with the PTFE coating, provides mechanical tear resistance. It withstands outdoor UV exposure and aging from temperature variations.
