Silicone fiberglass fabric

Silicone coated fiberglass cloth is a lightweight, durable, heat-resistant, and fire-resistant material widely used in various industrial applications. It is made from a combination of glass cloth and silicone, where the glass cloth provides tensile strength, and the silicone provides water resistance and flame retardancy. This material is highly versatile and can be used for insulation, waterproofing, and many other applications. It combines the best of both worlds:

• Strong yet Flexible: It inherits the dimensional stability and high tensile strength of fiberglass cloth while gaining the flexibility of silicone rubber, allowing it to be easily wrapped and draped over equipment of various shapes.

• High and Low-Temperature Resistance: It can be used for long periods within a temperature range of -70°C to 280°C (-94°F to 536°F), making it more than capable of handling common industrial high temperatures and outdoor low-temperature environments.

• Excellent Protective Performance: The silicone rubber coating makes its surface waterproof, oil-proof, resistant to chemical corrosion, and provides good electrical insulation.

• Safe and Non-Irritating: The surface is smooth and, unlike untreated fiberglass, is less prone to producing loose fibers. This makes it less irritating to human skin and safer and more user-friendly during installation and construction.
